After 20 years in the furniture restoration industry owning A Lasting Touch Furniture Restoration and Chair Caning of Rock Hill, SC, we have decided to slow down and enjoy semi-retirement in coastal Georgetown, SC. Palmetto Cane & Weave is our newest venture which brings 20+ years of our chair caning and weaving services to the Hammock Coast and Lowcountry of South Carolina. Not forgetting our upstate roots, Palmetto Cane & Weave still services our original home areas  located in the North and South Carolina communities and surrounding areas 

In addition to our professional caning services, we also sell all the supplies we use for chair caning and weaving as well as custom order specialty weaving products for those who wish to "do it yourself". We are also able to repair and/or reglue your cherished family treasures with expert attention to detail and will shine the wood with quality wax prior to returning it.

Our business model works on the old fashion principle where customer service comes first.  With our years of experience in the furniture restoration industry, we have established ourselves as a trusted source that delivers quality every time.   Our three (3) person team is made up of experienced, passionate professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional service. We work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that exceed their expectations.  We encourage all of our existing clients, as well as anyone interested in our services, to contact us via phone, text, email, or social media platforms to ask questions or to check on the progress of a piece (or pieces) we are currently restoring. Our workshop is small so we must keep it clean and well organized at all times. This attention to detail provides a safe environment for the furniture entrusted to us, our clients, and our team.

We are not setup to perform any “in home quotes” or “in home services” of any kind. All caning and weaving quotes are provided in person at our Georgetown workshop or virtually through email, text, or the various social media platforms we utilize. All work is done in our Georgetown workshop where we are insured and licensed to operate.
